MissionThe central aim of the BHSRL is to understand health behaviours in a broad array of individuals, communities, and populations. An additional aim of the lab is to examine the measurement of health behaviours and associated factors considered to promote (or thwart) participation in such activities such as motivation, commitment, goals, and well-being. These aims are examined in both basic and applied health sciences research with the intention of improving our understanding of health behaviours, the factors that promote (or thwart) their engagement on a regular basis, and the consequences of involvement in behaviours undertaken to effect health.
